Make it at home

I am very lucky that I have the gift of time. It allows me to create. I loved finding an alternative to Nutella. That nutty classic that pretty much is a spoonful of happiness… but also a ton of dairy and sugars. So here I go switching things up. Adding a little vegan and a lot of love.

16 oz canned chick peas (or fresh post soaking)

1/4 cup of #dairyfree chocolate chips

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 cacao powder

1/3 cup coconut milk

*Blend all together, refrigerate after. Should last about a week … if you don’t eat it all in one sitting!

Creative Juices

Recipes are super helpful. They ignite my creativity. But most important they remind me to think for myself.. So I improvise. Sometimes I win… and sometimes my cookies sink and flatten and I end of creating even better cake balls!

Few tips for this recipes:

I toasted my own hazelnuts in a little coconut oil and add the oil and nuts directly in the Ninja Kitchen blender. My favorite chocolate chips are Enjoylife Foods so this is my go to #dairyfree (and #treenutfree) option. If you want a little more umph I would add Aroy-D coconut cream instead of coconut milk (like I did). Plus canned chick peas are just as good! So save yourself some time and energy!
