How did I get started with Barre?
I’ve been dancing my whole life. Running around on toes. Tapping under my desk. Counting beats as I walk.
I always loved being on stage. I loved making a scene. Never one to jump into the drama… yet always a little more emotionally dramatic growing up. I knew I wanted to perform. As I got older I realized I was never going to be a professional dancer.. or even a pro dancer.
So what to do with all this energy and excitement to perform?
I took to teaching. I started in Group Fitness at the University of South Carolina. I was 19 and ready to be a Star. Share my choreography, music, moves, and positivity. And since then I have never let teaching go. Even trying out the corporate life I knew I would always come back to my passion of health and wellness.
So let’s get dancing
What is Barre? A modern fitness twist on tradition ballet class. No dance skills required. Focus on small micro muscle groups and then larger full range dance moves.
I’ll be sharing pre-filmed 45 workouts weekly. Try them out on your timing.
